We’re happy you’re planning to visit McAllen. You’ll find lots to do here. It’s a fun place to spend a few hours, a few days or a lifetime.  Spring in McAllen is especially beautiful. Every color of flower is in bloom, bright birds fly overhead everywhere you look, and the palm fronds rustle like ladies’ skirts did a century ago.  And speaking of the past, you’ll find plenty of history to remind you of the good old days. The Historic Downtown architecture is renovated turn-of-the-century amazing. But McAllen has plenty of the modern about it, too, since we’re one of the country’s fastest growing cities.
