    The arts in McAllen are as eclectic and esteemed as the City itself. The latest addition to the community’s cultural collection is the Art District that’s home to more than two dozen galleries and the recently completed Art Village – a distinctive, 30,000 square-foot space that houses art studios, galleries and creative firms along with several restaurants. You can’t miss this Main Street landmark that speaks to the artist in us all.

    McA2 is your arts headquarters. With the help of the McAllen Chamber of Commerce, McA2 is driving the art movement, and has its finger on the pulse of the whole scene.

    McAllen ArtWalk
    First Friday of the Month – September – May

    The McAllen ArtWalk lets you stroll through galleries and art spaces throughout the Art District. You can start your self-guided tour at any location and proceed at your own pace. The McAllen ArtWalk happens 6 -10 p.m. the first Friday of each month from September through May.
