Save money and get to know your region.  The Rio Grande Valley of South Texas has great places to visit from South Padre Island to Rio Grande City.  We live in a rich region, so why not take a mini vacation with your family and visit Gladys Porter Zoo in Brownsville, Quinta Mazatlan in McAllen or experience the great architecture in Roma and Rio Grande City?  Do something nice for yourself without spending too much money.
